1996 Canadian Toonie German Planchet

SirKayDeVonKwon New Member Canada 47 Posts	Posted 10/11/2021 8:39 pm Good Evening everyone and Happy thanksgiving everyone. I got a toonie today and I kept it cause it looked special. It look very matt and I see it is not just regular circulating coins so I am suspecting it might be the German Planchet variety. Here is the pictures of the toonie If I had better cell phone camera I could show the grains on the coins and its shines on the bear and queen. Wrekkdd Pillar of the Community Canada 3328 Posts	Posted 10/11/2021 10:32 pm It is just a worn 1996 specimen toonie, the German planchette variety I believe didn't look much different then a normal circulation toonie and after circulation it is very difficult to tell.
