Good Evening everyone and Happy thanksgiving everyone.
I got a toonie today and I kept it cause it looked special. It look very matt and I see it is not just regular circulating coins so I am suspecting it might be the German Planchet variety.
Here is the pictures of the toonie
If I had better cell phone camera I could show the grains on the coins and its shines on the bear and queen.
I would like to double check whether this is the 1996 Toonie German Planchet.
It is just a worn 1996 specimen toonie, the German planchette variety I believe didn't look much different then a normal circulation toonie and after circulation it is very difficult to tell. This is definitely a specimen toonie.
