I have this 1943 D Merc dime in my collection , can anyone tell me more about the Grading of this coin?
Is it worth having graded? I figured it would be best to get a second opinion before sending it in.
Sorry if the pictures arent in the greatest quality. I limited to my phone for uploading .
Thanks for your time !

Going to need much better larger photos to help you. A coin need to be worth at least $150 retail after grading to justify all costs involved in sending it in.

Agree. Much larger (and sharp) and well-cropped photos needed. Thanks.

If you were to crop your photos, it would help enlarge the size.
It certainly would not be worth getting graded, even if it was in MS condition.

This is not a rare date Mercury, so I would save my money. Not worth sending in.

it sounds as if you kind of new to collecting. please check here for comments before getting any coin professionally graded as it very easy to lose money getting a coin graded and the cost of doing that would chew up a considerable amount of the value of the coin and you would never recover it.

as for grading, photos need to be large enough to see all the details of the coin and try to avoid overhead lighting as it presents too much glare to see the surfaces
