Hi all, my eyes are getting tired looking at Coins, so I started looking at Grandma's Paper Bills. There's so many from different Countries, I'm starting to get fatigue on my new Hobby.

Grandma has a lot of crisp $2.00 Bill's.

Most have 3 consecutive Serial Numbers, but I think for them to be valuable, you must have up to 5 consecutive Serial Numbers in a row.

I found one year 1976 with a Star next to the Serial Number.

Furthermore, the Serial Number on the left-side is much more "bolded" than the right-side Serial Number.

Can all the Pro's out there, give your me your kind insights on this American Paper Bills.

Thank you so much for your help, P-p-p-Na

Your note is a replacement note, or star note, and 1976 was the first year for $2 FRNs. Because of this, many were saved by the public and many are available today which keeps them affordable. The notes were distributed in consecutive packs of 100, so consecutive notes are typically no big deal. Your note is from the San Francisco district. Some collectors try and assemble all 12 districts.

I recommend in the future to post your photos oriented correctly and imaged against a contrasting color background.

. . . . . .

Only 1 run of 1.92 million in that run. Since you got it from your Grandmother, I would save it.

From a run of 1,920,000 so no value above face.

If no sentimental value spend it.

If sentimental value keep it.

It is only two dollars.
