How about the d on the reverse side looked like slight doubling.

Agree with John1. The D may show a circulation ding--not unlike the gash in the lower torch bands. A sharp close-in pic of the D may show more. The 'wrinkle' feature on Roosevelt's eyebrow could be a minor cladding rupture.
