Hello, I know chances are slim that this is a error. But the way the each device has indentions is what caught my eye. What do ya'll think?

Hmm looks like the zinc core is exposed in multiple areas. That may be preferentially corroded and therefore the letters are becoming incuse. This would be a spender for me.
