This Buffalo nickel eye has a strike that looks like like a DDO. I think. I don't see anything else on the coin that meets the criteria. Can you only have one visible trait, like an eye or mouth, or do you need all traits to be visible in order to qualify for a DDO?

Yes, you can have small, visible portions of a coin that has doubling. Also, keep in mind there are 9 different classes of doubled dies, so they can have different effects. Take a look at the 1820 Half Dollar O-108. This variety is the only doubled die in that series. It is a Class IV, and really only visible on the eagle's left wing tip and lower leaves on the reverse.

Do you see a specific spot on the coin where you see doubling? Have you found an attribution number that matches your coin's diagnostics?

Agreed with DDO-004 FS-102. Besides the doubling visible in the eyelid, there is also doubling on the send feather along the right side where it meets the 3rd feather. This can be seen on your example. Nice find
