1799 Draped Bust Dollar Coin - Counterfeit?

Slick1982 New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 08/15/2022 03:17 am Ok so I have a 1799 draped bust dollar coin but I have a feeling that it's counterfeit cause it is missing the Liberty on the front of the Coin!!! Am I correct in my assumption...if so is there any kind of a market for such coins(even if they don't bring a lot of $$$) and where could I start looking for a buyer? If there is a possibility that it may be real where should I start to get it authenticated? Report this Post to the Staff

Souvenir shops that sell fake coins. They might give you a dollar for it, but probably not. They have cheaper sources that include the word LIBERTY for free.
