Hi All, I'm just wondering if I could get some opinions on this 1874 CC Trade dollar. Unfortunately these are the only pictures I have access to, so I'm not expecting anything super definitive but more of an overall vibe. I'm wary of the denticles above Liberty's head, but have seen authentic examples with denticle variation before. The details seem pretty strong to me, and the seller has a strong reputation. Overall I feel OK but would love to hear what the experts think! Thanks in advance!

I'll say EF-40, possibly 45.

This piece looks genuine to me. Possible grafitti on obverse fields. XF-40, no luster remaining.

Assuming genuine, really choice for grade. I'd love to own this.

Correct type 1 obverse and type 1 reverse. Mint Mark looks correctly oriented. I say genuine, XF-45 because of the nice fields except for the small area on the reverse. Don't think it is enough to details such a fine coin.

Great looking coin, and nice photos. I think the light scratches on the obverse are acceptable for the grade.

Handsome coin for sure, but I feel the scratches will detail it.

Very nice! Quote: Handsome coin for sure, but I feel the scratches will detail it. I feel it would look great in a Dansco regardless.
