2005 P LMC DDR - Common?

Please help me understand how common "They are common" is. Less than 1% of the total minted, less than 2%, 5%, 10 %?

Maybe someone with @silvosi's voluminous expertise can help with this.

Thanks for the feedback #oddguy, it is really appreciated. I'm more interested in comparative and true uniqueness. Like artwork, values of coins, is amazingly subjective and clearly not intrinsic. What you and I think is aesthetically pleasing may not be our brothers/sisters cup of tea.

Unfortunately, there isn't going to be a common definition of "common" for the same reason that there's no common definition of "aesthetically pleasing".

However, as oxymoronic as it sounds, there are common rare coins. With almost 300 different DDR's documented for the 2000-2008 Lincoln Cents they appear to qualify as "common" varieties by most numismatic standards.

Still cool to find and collect, though.
