Hey all!

I found a penny that looked a bit wavy and was wondering if that is something to look out for, if it's just Die Deterioration, or some other possible mechanical flaw. I looked for something to compare it to, but couldn't quite get a similar image. I've attached a small Youtube clip (that took ages to put a royalty free song onto)... that can show it a bit better than the still-frames.

Thanks

I appreciate it. I looked up roller lines and plate bubbling and I'd say it definitely gets close to fitting the bill. Another spender! :)

Not a premium for the coin. Just not as pretty as the rest of them.

I've found a number of these and wondered what they were. Since they seem to be relatively common there's not much point in looking into it further. It's a shame we now make coins that deteriorate in a matter of years. Of course they start with very little value and seem to be getting worth less by the day...
