pk on this 1974 cent is it what they call a rainbow cent it looks more like it to me because the last one io asked about everyone was giving me a hard time about it because wen ever I look back on it I get a chuckle bout of your response because I see what you all seen like you said its not rainbow tint its somthing else that you dont know what kind of tiint it was but you no that its sopthing other than rainbow but you can guarantee that its not rainbow tint lol

It is environment toning not rainbow toning.

Agree--environmentally-caused toning. A little difficult to follow what's written in the OP's post.

If you like the toning--which reflects various hues--do keep the coin.

That was a bit of a hard read, but I think I get the idea. And while it has a few different colors on it, it is not a rainbow, it is in the process of toning from a red/brown coin to a brown tone.

so it is in the process of changing to brown thats kind of cool and so what is the rainbow toning from
