These are the details I closely look at very closely, when grading any KG V coin. Reasons for less sharpness are 1. worn die 2. worn coin 3. light strike. Report this Post to the Staff

King George V has some of my FAVORITE coin designs of all time, and the Canada Dollar is at or near the top of my list. I have a couple from 1936 (different KM of course), but I have the 1935 on my wishlist!! PS: The 5-cent piece (nickel 1922 - 1936) is a close tie with the dollar for me. I remember seeing that lot at the Norweb sale and loved the story behind it at the time. I was able to reunite your 1939 SP66 dime and 1939 SP66 quarter.. The quarter now resides in a PCGS SP66+CAM.
