Three Pence - What Is It?

poster123 New Member Ireland 2 Posts	Posted 11/20/2022 06:50 am Hello, I found what looks like a Three pence but is missing one face and is hollow.. I have never seen anything like this before. I presume this was a fake coin at once stage but would love to here from knowledgeable folk on here as to what it is or what it was used for.. Second, we see these from time to time on US coins and ascribe them to being either Magician's coins or spy coins. No numismatic premium for these since they are damaged by the hollowing process, but a fun find nonetheless.
