I believe the coin rotated in the color and was struck a 2nd time on the reverse.Thanks in advance for any help.

Not Double Struck, I think John1 nailed it, Feeder Finger Damage.
Also please crop your photos in the future as per CCF instructions.
This helps to save web space.

So why is the not a mar on the planchet? Note the affected area? See on the devices, that the same affect is not on the tops of the devices. So that rules out pre-strike planchet damage. As already mentioned, it is light Feeder Finger Damage. Note the fields are affected, but not the tops of the devices. Thus it is a disturbed field issue on the die.
(The reason I mentioned the mar issue, was to show that was a thought, but was not correct. Thought I would pass this information on to the thread)
