Hello Everyone! Here is a neat 33mm from the loop French WWI(?) Medalet, struck in light yellow Bronze. Designed be G.Charles, it looks to be a French WWI soldier yelling M(erde)! I can't find out anything about it... any ideas are greatly appreciated!

An (nearly) identical one in silver is for sale right now, see: https://horizondescollectionneurs.c...-guerre.html
On the reverse this one has: Guerre / 1914- 1918. It is described as a satirical medal. Maybe the soldier is yelling MERCI. The last letter seems to be an "I" and the number of dots fits with the number of letters in the word.
The medal is not listed in the catalogue of the Frankenhuis collection of WWI medals

Nice work @elg. I stumbled on that same website and agree with your interpretation (although my mind went to "merde"when I first looked at the medal).
