Looking for info on this token. Was it a hand out. I can find the front of the coin online, not sure about the back with what looks like tents. Also what is it made off buddy of mine thinks silver, I'm not to sure on that.
The reverse of your Boy's Brigade (BB) commemorative medal features the logo/emblem developed for the Ayr International BB Camp that was held in 1986 at Rozelle Park in Ayr, Ayrshire, UK. The event marked the centenary of camping in the Boys' Brigade, hence the stylized silhouettes of tents. The Boy's Brigade, organized in 1883, has long promoted outdoor activities, including camping.
I do not believe your medal is silver; it is most likely a copper-nickel alloy chosen to give the medal the appearance of silver. But, it's very difficult to tell from just images. Silver pieces are typically marked as such, but I don't see any such notes on your medal. Anything on the edge?
