That is MD, Machine Doubling and very common.

Yep I do collect ones that are of this nature mostly all coins have some sort of machine double this thing has it like 3 or 4 times on the A and the M I don't keep a bunch but if I come across these there very different in my opinion than normal Machine Doubling also E PLURIBUS UNUM to me looks different could be my pic or eyes just wanted to show it I'm not sure how good you can see it wish pictures was better cause you would see how this doubling is different lol I know everyone says that but it's wild looking like 3 times on that A and that M that's very very different

Check it out I haven't seen a bunch of these like this if you run across them and say that's normal awsome just another quarter lol cause that's all it really ever is anyways but yes I only have one more like this and it's not as good as this one I know what a normal Machine Doubling looks like I see the every time I look at a coin they all have it business I agree with what you said for sure just not sure if you seen the difference tho if you find them like this a lot sweet cool #128526;

Machine tripleing is what I called it it's only on these two letter the others are more of a Machine Doubling

Mint proof, I am new to searching quarters, not as familiar with them as other denominations. I was schooled, recently on the different types of MD on them though. Here is my thread.

The DDR's are not on that area. That is Machine Doubling on incuse devices. Spender.
