Hello again, I am very new to this and thought to myself that this might be very fun and enjoyable. I have a 2016 Lincoln Penny that I have come across, and to me it has a very odd marking on it. It looks as if Lincoln is sticking out his tongue or has an extra lip. I compared it to the same coin and the 2nd coin did not have this feature on it. I like to look for odd or different markings on coins and this one has me rubbing my head a little. I was curious if anyone has ever come across this or has even heard about this flaw in this particular coin. Thank you for your time. This time I am adding pictures. lol.

Your photo is not sharp (out of focus) enough to see what's really going on. From what I can see and from your description, it appears your cent has post mint damage, but better photos are needed. And always show us both sides of your coin.

Yes, much improved photos. I suspect your coin took a bag hit to Lincoln's mouth area, but one of our real experts will be along to confirm.

Much better photos. As stated, Lincoln has just taken a hit in the mouth. PMD

nice second set of images - thanks - as for the mouth, it appears like the upper lip took a good hit and disfigured Abe.
