Could not pass this one up. Insanely low price and it's the only civil war vintage coin I have. It's also slightly sharper than the one "currently" residing in my type set.

Nice upgrade, Alpha. I just picked up an 1861-O S.S. Republic shipwreck slabbed one, otherwise I would consider it. Early half dollars are my bank account's kryptonite.
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

The 63 S has great detail, looks to be mid to high AU. Severe hairlines from a harsh cleaning.
Suffering from bust half fever.

I wonder if I could call an 1860 seated a civil war coin.

Both are cleaned. The 63-S is better, AU-58 details.
