I read somewhere recently they are advising people who have old appraised coins such coins that were appaised by PCGS that they should get them repackaged with the new labels and packing etc... What do you think about this? Is it due to all the Counterfeiting of the appraised packing? Wondering your thoughts on this topic? And would it required to have the coin or currency to be re-appraised aswell?

@reno, I hadn't heard this previously. Can you please post a link to whoever is saying this?

Also, just to be super-clear with words, I think that the TPGs grade and provide an assurance of the coin being real, but the market provides the prices.

OK.
When I come across it again I'll send you the link. It was something I read late at night a few days ago . I forget whether I read it online or something I received in the mail before bed. Sadly I don't recall just at this very instant.

TPG aren't appraising coins/currency they are grading them. Having coins/currency re-holdered simply because you want them in the latest and greatest holder would be a waste of money. There are other factors in play as well but generally speaking many collectors prefer holders from decades past.

I prefer coins that are not packaged in any way.
NCLT is a different matter; pristine packaging can be important.

Actually the opposite of what you posted is true, coins in older third party graded slabs tend to have a premium. People assume (usually correctly) that the prior slabs were under graded compared to now and therefore are worth more.

I think just getting graded coins regraded is mostly a waste of money unless there is a chance the coin will come back a higher grade.
