I used wexler pics for verification coin has a lil wear on it the bottom doubling is there and the U in united looks so similar just not sure if one cent is machine doubled because that is still my weakness but I figured its worth posting to verify

I am afraid what you have is MD and not a doubled die.

This coin is far from what you saw on Wex website. It is MD

On the real DDR, the devices are doubled.

On your coin you are seeing Machine Doubling, that reduces the size of the devices. A doubled die will show enlarged devices, not reduced. The difference?
