Come across alot of these and if I actually had an example in hand it would be easier to identify. Does mechanic doubling apply to over mint marks?

OMM's stopped in 1955.D over D is an RPM. What attribution number is it?

I guess I just wanted to know what to classify this as I see a lot of them and want to know if they are worth collecting...

Not worth collecting, there is also split plating which
will cause the zinc core to rot.

You can have MD on just the mm (isolated MD) and nowhere else but usually shows elsewhere too, like on the date, in the same direction.
