Came across this Sac 2000-P error coin recently and have not seen this before. With all the hands on and photos I have been able to research, this is a mystery to me; although I have some thoughts. Full circumference has the metal discrepancy seen in picture below. Any thoughts on he direction you feel I should take this in would be much appreciated!!

Not sure what you are considering an error, that is the copper core you are seeing.

Agreed! Just have not come across one so flagrantly obvious. Would the rinse have caused this? Do you know? Have you seen it before? I have not, hence the question. Thanks for your help.

Copper core is showing through prominently. Not an error, though.
