So I've been working on this Rhodesia set for quite a while. The set consists of 4 notes: 1, 2, 5 and 10 Dollars.

All from the 1979 year
All bearing the a Pick number suffix
All Replacement / Star notes
All in a new generation PMG holder
All graded 67 Superb Gem Unc EPQ

Have long been searching for the 5 Dollars, but there was always something off. Either it was not a Replacement, or not from 1979, or not in the latest holder, or the grade was only 65 or 66. Usually notes would be off by at least two criteria. Then I found this one! TOP POP, tied finest known (there are 2 others in 69). But here's a dilemma: Is this only better than what I was looking for? Or should I keep looking for a 67? I know it's a bit of a luxury problem. But what would you guys do?

69 is definitely better than 67. I would keep that $5. I congratulate you on completing the set. I think you've done a good job.

+1

When it comes to semantics, on how you describe your set, don't mess with what you've got. Keep it like it is! It's easy to reclassify as all "superb gems."

Yeah that's my OCD messing around I guess LOL At first I thought "Why not search for "All 69s" now?" But the 5 Dollars is the only one that is even graded in 69 at all. For all the others 68 is the max. Still, an "All 68s" set is theoretically possible (although a lot harder than All 67s). I think I'm still after a 5 Dollars in 67.
