Season off to an interesting start out here in MT. Week of 40s & 50s, then 6 inches of snow. Rinse and repeat. But not stopping me from swinging.

And then there is the frustration of pulling a semi key date out of the ground that looks like this.

Keep digging all those coin signals..sooner or later the good ones will come out!
When I started detecting almost 30 years ago my dreams of finding rare and valuable coins had begun. Although it took a few years to get a coin that was actually worth something it opened the door to many more wonderful finds including rare and valuable coins and relics.
Perseverance is the key to the key coins!
Keep those good ones coming!

Oh, not deterred in the least bit. Been at it for a decade. Last year pulled 2 dozen silvers - one a 1906 Barber that would grade 58 or possibly MS. But the two key dates, this 1900-O and 1896-S Barber were both damaged goods.The 1896 bent with major rim damage.

My time will come.....I hope. Until then, free time is booked solid.
