Our winter here is SE Wisconsin has been a series of 5-8" snowfalls, followed by warming periods that melt away the snow.

I have been able to get out to the hillside along Lake Michigan several times in recent weeks. My best finds were a 1914-D Barber dime (my second Barber dime), 1910 and 1917 Wheaties and a heavy silver ring, which I dug up from under a fallen tree.
