Poll Question
Generally, how many people think that getting at least one "two roll Set" of each new design will be worth it ? (future premiums as well as just plain collectibility ?)

My personal plans are to get 3 - "two roll Sets" of each design.

How many will just get them (or hope to) from their banks instead of paying U.S. Mint prices for the "wrappers" of the "Sets" ?

What are the whole gambit of thoughts on these "new designs" of yet another U.S. Coin.....especially from non Lincoln Cent collectors ?

Poll Choices
I plan to get them only from my bank, not the Mint
I plan to get them from circulation only
I have no interest in Lincoln Cents, so I won't collect them regardless
The Mints price for these is high, but I will order them
I will order more than one two roll set per design
Just another marketing gimmick from the Mint
I only collect older Classics, so not interested
My answer doesn't fit into the choices listed, I'll explain
I am pleased with this product from the Mint in price, design, and collectibility

Ordering 1 of each for my own collection. I'll pick out some from bank rolls for my book/set.

I have ordered 5 sets and will do the same for the other 3 releases. Yes they are extremely overpriced. But I believe they will return every dime to my heirs.

I voted will get more than one roll of each but the price is to much for what we are getting.

But we know we must get these or we can't sleep at night

I only want one nice coin of each type from Philly and Denver mints to put into my Lincoln Cent album (8 coins total). I am not interested in entire rolls.

I have ordered 5 roll sets, and will be putting 3 back and opening 2 for perusal and eventual grading by NGC. This will be my plan for all the upcoming issues also. Now my goal is to convince NGC that this is a new issue and should not be part of their Lincoln Memorial sets. Other opinions?

I will order one set of each type. I've already ordered the 1st set but might wait until the 4th quarter of '09 to order the other three sets and save on shipping.

$2.95 per set sure would be a lot better than $8.95 but I'm complaining.

All,

I have already decided that I do want one of each reverse without regard for the mintmark.

Even if I was in the US, I would not be purchasing rolls from the mint but would hope some kind soul would buy some from the mint and sell them on.

I don't think these will turn up in circulation much.

I am sure they could turn a nice profit on each roll.

Judging by the sales of the Lincoln silver dollar, I think the set with the dollar and cents will sell out quickly.

I wonder how much people would pay for a mint package with just cents in them from each mint.

If the way the mint has operated in the past is any indication once set 2 comes out set 1 will not be available and the same for sets 3 and 4
If you wait until 4th quarter you may only get sets 1 and 4.

You should be able to get a feeling for what will happen after series 2 is released

Well if they're overproduced in the Billions/Millions per design or just Billions for the total mintage for 2009 but roughly equally per design......I bet eventually they'll be found in circulation. (in fact, of course they will)
I haven't heard that the mintages will be limited in any peculiar way......so eventually the banks will get them and disperse them whether they want them or not I'm sure......well.....kinda ! ......
....
Like everything else pulled from circulation........it'll just take time for certain ones to show up .....

I only want to proofs for my lincon proof set. Other than that don't want to pay the premium. But I'm planning to buy the limited mintage set.

The Proof and Silver Proof Sets containing those 95% Copper Proof Cents should make these Sets carry a nice premium ehh ?.......

I wonder if this years Silver Proof Sets will end up being like the 1999 Silver Proof Sets in value ?..........probably not, but should be nice though huh ?.......and certainly should be worth more than the "issue price" !....
These near pure Copper Cents in the Proof and Silver Proof Sets only....make it interesting.....

I wish ALL OF THIS YEARS CENTS WERE 95% COPPER THOUGH !....(on the other hand, doing it the way they are, the Sets will be worth more maybe)
