Hello everyone, A first for me! Found this 1993 Lincoln cent, with an obvious PMD in a bank roll with the form of a planchet clip by medal cutter of some sort? Anyway, here are 5 pics to show the damage. Regards and let me know your thoughts.

I am not sure this it is PMD. The traces of Cu, the zinc clip has normal structure of a crack Zn texture. I think as a big crack planchet which detach before the strike.

Silvio, are you saying the clip happened after punching and plating, and before striking? Seems hard to believe that if it was a straight fault line that there would be some plating that seeped into the crack. Looks to me like it was cut after it left the mint.

Yes I see the marks but the texture of the cut clip is normal Zn molecular texture.
