From the variety nickel sites, this particular spot shows up as a marker in a lot of different attributions. Must be a particularly fragile site on the die.

When posting pictures like this, is it better to tightly crop to the chips and tiny features, or is it preferred to leave the image wider to show more context?

The last photo is useful because it is clear and shows a different perspective of the chip than the photo above it but it would be better right side up (even if it was taken upside down from the other one).

Doh. Ok. Well I just posted pics for a different coin with the perspective at all different angles. I will know better for the (next) next time.
