Hello everyone,

Would this be consider an off center strike with L on rim error? Also, on the reverse there is an error as shown in the photo. Is it a lamination error?

Thank you

Could be a Struck Through Foil error.

The L on the rim "error" is an ebay selling gimmick. It's a result of a coin being struck with old wore out dies. The area on the reverse looks like a little copper foil struck in.

Yep, no such animal as an L on rim error.

I mislabeled this post. It is a 1962 Cent, not 1964. Not sure if anyone can change it to the correct year in the title.

Here is a picture of the obverse with L on rim.

I dare to venture that the 6 in 1962 is doubled although it looks like it has an after mint error like another coin hit it in the bag.

Does it look like the face is doubled?

A foil error is new to me. Is it a valuable error? I have to learn how is foil involved in the minting process or is that something different? What is a foil error is my question, I guess. Thanks!

You are confusing everyone with different images and different questions. Please start over with pics and questions that exactly match.
