2020 1C Shield Lincoln Cent -- Reverse Split Die -- MS63 Red NGC
(Full disclosure- Not my coin and I have no skin in the game.)

I happened to stumble on this at Heritage Auctions and thought I'd see if anyone here has seen this variety in their searches. it's pretty nice.
(I didn't find anything with the search feature here.)
I hope this thread doesn't mess with anyone's plans to own this coin.

Here's the NGC slab info:

Here's the obverse and reverse since the link won't work forever.

Thats an impressive split die - I'm somewhat surprised it held together to mint at last this example. Likely there are a few more out there somewhere.

I agree with you guys 100%.

Did you happen to follow the link and see some of the other errors up for sale? Some common and not-so-common errors with some doable prices at the moment.
One item is a slabbed "Obverse Indent" at $11

Thanks John for those links.

I tried a search but must have entered the info differently. Then again, maybe I searched for a different coin and my mind got tied in knots. LOL

Wow! I don't really look for shield cents during my hunts. This one is definitely worth finding. Kudos.

Surprised the price it's at now being a 63. Also the scratches on the bottom right on the obverse not to attractive imo. There's a few on eBay actually.
I've got a couple raw and a graded one at a 66.
Also a 2020 roll with the split die as an ender.
The coins had been struck sometime in February when the error occurred.
