You had asked if we could identify VAM-4 in your 1883-O Morgans. I can't see enough detail in the photos for a definitive attribution. If I had to guess, based on MM position and angle, date position and possible denticle impressions, my guess would be either #16 (MM looks a little low, though,) #17 or this one (leaning toward this one.) Check the MM for remnants of another O below and inside the primary MM.

This one doesn't seem to have the repunched mintmark.

Looks like the seller didn't transfer the VAM-4 coin. If you were trying to find the variety, it doesn't look like there is any further need. Thanks to those who tried to help.
