Here is the deal! I have been metal detecting for 10 years or more and I have found over a 100 silver coins, mostly Mercury dimes. This Franklin half is the only Franklin half I have ever found. For context, I have found a dozen Walking Liberty halves. What are the odds of this 50 cent piece being a RPM? I think it is but I would like the experts to weigh in?

No split serif on this such as is easily visible on the two known RPMs for this date/mint. I wonder if it isn't MD on this coin. @gros, are there any other areas with similar doubling on the reverse?

I really thought it was RPM #2. I have never looked for RPM'S on circulated coins and was unsure of how the circulation would come into play? I am just now getting better at uncirculated Lincoln RPM'S. There are no markers to identify on variety vista that I could match up, so I figured that comes into play with coins dug out the ground . I knew some members on the forum would know.
