$275 is an insane price. I'm sure there is a licensing fee from DC Comics that inflates the price, but even still that's crazy. You're talking a premium of $75 per oz over spot.

For context, the 2021-P Tuskegee 5 oz Silver Coin debuted for $229 with silver at $25/oz, meaning the premium was just $21 per oz over spot.

$275? No way. Not interested. Not even for Batman, which is what I prefer if I were to splurge for a larger medal.

For comparison, the one-ounce Superman medal is $135 while the Benjamin Harrison medal (same weight and specifications) is $90.

I'm glad I have no interest in these medals!

For those who enjoy them - have at it!

I mean, Batman would be kinda cool. I will have to wait and see how tempting he is.

Aaaaand it's looking like $2670 for the 1/2oz gold Superman (compared to $2175 for the same-size 1/2oz gold Sacagawea at ~$1650 spot). Ouch.

In the OP, reference is made to non-precious clad medals. Haven't seen anything on the USM Product Schedule that fits that description. . .
