MS69 are selling for about $40. MS70 about $60
just to give you an idea. PCGS you need a yearly subscription $69, grading fee about $23 plus ship and ins both ways.
grading fees are ridiculous and chew up a good portion if not all value of a coin. I don't slab for that reason. unless you have a rarer coin that needs authenticated and preserved forget about grading.

Don't they also make you insure it, to and from the grader? John1

No I wouldnt get this graded, doesn't look like a 70, lots of spotting. Quote: MS70 about $60 I'll take everyone you have ... PCGS ms70 2000 eagles have a price guide of $4000 & a 2000 millennium eagle has a guide of $14000.
I've been collecting for a couple years... Favorite Coin's are Standing Liberty quarters, Working on my type set | Coffee, Corvettes, Coins & the CCF what could be better?

Not worth spending the high fees to slab it.

Quote: PCGS you need a yearly subscription $69, grading fee about $23 plus ship and ins both ways. That's one way of submitting coins to PCGS. I chose to work with a PCGS authorized dealer to submit the one coin I had graded. I sent an ICG encapsulated Goodacre Sacagawea for grading and it came back SP68. Total cost was $45.00.

Quote: chose to work with a PCGS authorized dealer to submit the one coin I had graded. I sent an ICG encapsulated true for submitting slabbed coins. it appears this one was removed from its holder as the holder photo is shown separated from the coin. also, finding an authorized dealer is not easy, finding an LCS that will submit them for you is not also. they could purchase a higher subscription with vouchers but like most on here they have never sent a coin in. I'm just giving them a single coin cost. you can send it to ANACS for significantly less but they don't command the additional premium for a PCGS coin as well. my intent is to show that slabbing a coin can chew up a significant value of a coin and doesn't just makes these companies bottom line increase i only condone grading a coin in one of two cases 1. its a rare coin and requires certification 2. its a higher value coin that the costs of grading is not going to chew up the majority of the value AND you are going to sell it.
