Just found a coin I have been looking for for a long time - a two-tailed roo! It's had a hard life in circulation but I am still happy with it. Looks like die chip on the "1" as well.

Does anyone know if these are a common variety of the 2008 MOR coins?

Can't help, but I've always loved this design.

No doubt cleaned long ago, but seems acceptable to my eye.

I have a couple of these and back when they were appearing they seemed to be reasonably easy to find. Definitely easier to find than a mule, and often occur with the die chip on the 1.

Good find SallyG.
