1977 Canadian 1 Cent with a Impact Z (Goose necked) in ELIZABETH
This is a very interesting Z font that how a perfect side impact force moved the font and it looks real. This is the best one I have found in Canadian coins and it will fool many. Going to put this in a 2x2 for future reference and a perfect example for a coin book. A must to share with you all and enjoy the pics.

Pacificoin - I think you should read my post much closer and not just look at the pictures, it has nothing about value or mint striking. Its all about how a coin in circulation can take a perfect ding and change the structure of the font. I think I was very clear about that in my initial post. Its worth more in an educational aspect for all and especially new collector's getting in the hobby.

Seeing examples that are not an error or variety is just as important to the learning process.

While I appreciate the information in your original post, I have to respectfully disagree that you were clear that it was PMD and not some type of variety. Anyone with some knowledge would easily decipher your post, but someone new to the hobby would not necessarily know that based on your description.

I think MTTJ just tried to give chadcoins a perfect side impact leaving him "Goose necked".

Next time duck!

Found another goose neck 1977 1 cent and the second pick shows that there is some thing going on with this Z font, If I find another one I would declare not PMD. Study the pics and its in the science of the strike. I'm starting to see a broken die with a font (Z) shift.
