 .........................  ...It's gonna be a "post-a-coin-with-a date/year" contest, spanning 1900 through 1999. I'll post the rules at a later date ... ...The prize is pictured above. It's difficult for me to capture the really great quality of casting & finish of this coin ... really top-notch (IMHO) ... I bought this at the Memphis Coin Show on Feb. 21 (this year) from fellow CCF member "BEEM" (wondycoin / Wondy Numismatics on ebay ... I've bought several coins from Ben, & have been pleased with my purchases ... nice guy & good prices) ... ...I'll post update notices over the next few weeks. I had 30+ participants in my last contest & hope for at least that many ... this is a nicer coin (than before), & it's graded & slabbed ... ...hope to see all ya'all participating ...

Find a park (or golf course), throw a low grade, common Morgan dollar as far as you can. Measure the distance and have us guess. |

...pretty good idea, ijn1944 ... may I borrow a dollar?...lol ... seriously, I'm gonna do a 'PICK-A-DATE', from 1900 - 1999, & you show a photo of your coin with the date you choose ... last time I limited everyone to 1 coin per day, but I may do 2 coins/dates per day to speed things along ... Haven't quite decided, & haven't decided whether to include a 2nd prize ... I'll keep tabs of everyone's choices, & update the still available dates 2-4 times a day, maybe more ... depends on the frequency of participation ... did this last year, & it took over 2 weeks to complete (with one choice per day) ... we'll get to see 100 different coins & hope to have a lot of participants ...
