rlu7732 Valued Member United States 291 Posts	Posted 03/08/2025 12:13 pm I am still going through error-ref.com; however, I wanted to know what is the cause of the dents in this quarter. I assumed it would be from PMD, but this was pulled from a Unc Mint Set and I would assume the B in Liberty would show the same dent as the surrounding areas. Another question, I notice all of my 1972 cents are almost proof-like. Did this year, they polish more? Report this Post to the Staff

Greasy Fingers Pillar of the Community United States 7042 Posts	Posted 03/09/2025 12:44 am 1st photo, midway through the B looks like a "struck through" error. 2nd photo, might be Reed Marks or some other PSD (post strike damage) 3rd photo, almost 100% sure that's a reed mark. 4th and 5th photo, are pictures of entire coin...
