I'm still trying to figure this stuff out pretty high tech for me hope the pics or this thread doesn't get me a warrant but this alien Abraham got me baffled

Pretty sure it's staining, from the images shown. Try a quick acetone bath & see if it cleans up.

Or, given the condition of the coin, rinse gently in water.

Not a lamination.
Looks like some sort of staining.
Laminations usually pertain to solid alloy coins
whereas your cent is copper plated zinc.

I did water nothing changed and I'm scared to try to hard so dirty alien Abraham he'll stay question I got another quarter different year do I keep my post in my thread or start new thread for new coin
