Had a co-worker ask me to look at some currency from his grandma's house she left him. looks like she was in the military from 1946 to mid 1950's there are coins from Asia (cash coins) and Germany, Netherlands, Korea, Canada, Australia, Brittan... all foreign. I found many silver dimes and quarters, some Shillings and half Crowns any interest is these coins?

We are interested in seeing them - but not interested in purchasing them if that is what you are proposing. You do not yet have the credentials to sell coins here at the CCF.

Quote: I found many silver dimes and quarters, some Shillings and half Crowns any interest is these coins? The silver coins always have collectible interest - the cupro-nickel coins have not so much.

Just remember when posting. 1 coin per thread with a clear photo of both sides along with a closeup of any area of interest. Also be sure to state whatever question you have about the coin.

Very hard to say anything about British coins without a listing of what you have and photos. "Halfcrowns" dated 1948 in Fine to Very Fine are worth virtually nothing, but any dated 1905 in the same condition would be worth hundreds of pounds!

We will gladly help you, but we will need images first. We are locking this topic to prevent posts with " We need images". You will get many more quality responses when there are quality images in the first post of a topic. Please start one new topic for each item when you can upload pictures. If needed, you can use the testing forum. The tutorials are below. Note: When you start a new topic, this one may be removed. So don't panic if you get an email that your topic was removed; it's only this one. TutorialUploading Photos. Editing ToolsPC: We highly recommend Irfa nView. ( Download) ( Irfanview Tutorial) Apple Computers: Tutorial here: http://goccf.com/t/466343 Cell Phones (iPhone or Android): First, do not upload cell phone pictures of screens. They are terrible. Please check that your camera settings are set to Medium quality. If it uses compression use 70%, it's perfectly fine for the internet. For file type, please use WEBP if your phone has it, otherwise JPG. Avoid PNG and GIF, they are horrible choices. Be sure to crop the image to only show the coin. This is a great setup for cell phones.
