This has been discussed and speculated and a possible sneak preview in a US Mint video, of what's referred to as a "diamond field finish", which may or may not be a new finish with a sort of cross hatched looking or diamond" effect. Has been discussed that it may be a new anti counterfeit effort, similar to the micro engraving the Canadian Mint (and others) have employed.

That's the best I can do. The mint is keeping this "very close to the vest". They are only referring to the finish as "stunning finishes". It's been slowly leaked for about 9-10 months now, if you keep close attention to it. May be worth subscribing to, because if it ends up being this finish, it may sell out quickly on drop day.
