Electric_Op_Ltd Valued Member United States 183 Posts	Posted 06/21/2009 4:28 pm One of the things I love about dealing in coins is that I get to handle, albeit sometimes briefly, a lot of coins I haven't handled yet. We acquired a 1809 Half Dollar (lettered edge)and it was described as R-1, O-102. I am not familiar with overton varieties, how common is this one? All the ones I saw on ebay (the ones that looked to be on the level lol) were O-106 or 109 ... can someone enlighten me a bit, for my benefit as well as our dear readers at home? It's the most common of the two breen varieties (the other being the one with \|\|\| or xxx). Thanks for your interest!
