There may be just enough detail for it to grade VF-20, but for me it looks F-15.

The scraping below the eagle's head definitely detracts. Even with them, I am going VF-20.

Even though I am not capable of giving you a grade for this piece, I will compliment it. I personally like Flying Eagle cents a lot, a very attractive coin. What you have there is an attractive example of the piece, yet upgradable if you choose to do so in the future, so it will fit nice in a type set.

It looks like VF details to me. I'd put it in your Dansco - you can always upgrade later if you want to.

Forgive the interruption, but I couln't resist taking a stab at a grade. I skipped the previous posts. My only experience with this coin is that I found my first one a couple weeks ago with the machine. I'll give the Ob a 40, and the Rev a 25. Thanks for letting me play. BTW- I like it!

Much better photos, I can see much more detail. Upgrade to VF-30.

The coin is a textbook XF40. If I were you, place this in the grading forum for more opinions.
