Stopped by Burger King this morning on the way in to work and received two beautiful 2009D Guam quarters (and a nice 1960D cent that I believe will fill a hole in my Lincoln folder).

This is the first 2009 quarter I've seen in circulation. Come to think of it...this may be the first 2009 coin I've seen in circulation at all. I don't think I've received a single 2009 cent, nickel or dime.

Wasn't DC the first 2009 quarter issued? Does anyone know the order of release?

Thanks, bio. I think it's pretty crazy that Guam is the first one I've seen. I thought for sure some DC's or Puerto Rico's would have made it around by now.

You should feel lucky, the only thing dated 2009 that I have seen is a few of the new cents

Same here, I have only found one 2009 Log Cabin cent. No nickels, dimes, or quarters yet. I have not seen any 2008 coins, either, which is really annoying!

Just one DC quarter here, nothing more...talk about frustration!

I did find one 2008 cent last summer, but it was is such horrible shape I released it. It really upset me.

I will add, however, that there is no shortage of 1970's copper and near gem 2007 Lincoln cents in my change.
