Greeting Friends,

Just wanted to share my latest lucky ebay purchase. This coin was purchased simply as an O-104, but upon it's arrival I noticed some cracks which were not evident in the auction pictures. I then began thinking 104A, but there were additional cracks which proved to be indicators of the (rumored) R-7 coin -- Now just an R-6 coin according to the Mgt. of the BHNC, but I can certainly live ith that.

Bust-Half-Dollar-Find

Take Care
Ben

Oh my, you've really got to be Bust Half Nut to even be considered for the club.

Quote:

To be considered as a candidate for BHNC membership, an individual must own a minimum of 100 different Bust die marriages by Overton attribution, should be genuinely interested in obtaining new die marriages for their set, and must be sponsored by a current member who has verified the attributions and grades on their application.

That's pretty cool, Bonedigger. And congrats on the find.

Looks like a nice find Ben! This is the first I have heard of an 1812 O.104b. I was looking for some bust half info and followed a link to your post and decided to join the community while I was here. I hope to qualify for the BHNC someday.
