I got this Large Cent at my Coin Club's Meet a few days ago in an auction. It still has detail on the Bust, and the wreath. The 100 in the Fraction is faded, though can still be made out, as well as the LI in Liberty.

I'd give it a G-4 with mild porosity. I like the color.

I think it might just make VG-8.

Yeah, it has an original color. When I get a 7070, this will make a great addition, as well as my 1841 LC.

This Variety, I think Is Large Date, and I also believe Large Fraction.

Congrats! It's a nice coin with good honest wear. A piece of history.

Small Date, Large Fraction S-261. It's a common variety but a decent coin. It is an earleir die state before the huge arc crack developed from 9:00 to 6:00 on the obverse. The die was later altered outside the mint to create the 1804 restrikes.
