Team,

I haven't checked in for a while and just wanted to share a picture of what the mail-lady delivered today. Check out this 1889 Morgan which has some beautiful color to it. It looks to be in the MS-62/63 range as with a 10X loupe I cannot see any wear, but that's not the gist of this post. I just wanted to show off a pretty Morgan :-) Lets see yours :thumb:

Thanks For Looking

I dont have any pretty toned morgans just because I usually shy away from toned coins all together. I guess the old saying that "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" goes along with this subject also because toning just doesn't appeal to me for some reason. I have seen maybe 2 coins that was toned that I thought was beautiful (but being that both of them was MS-67's they would have been just as attractive in Blast White). I am not sure if it was the toning or just the coin in general that I liked but they had some purples and ambers that really made them pretty as far as toning goes. Most toning is just attrocious to me, and I think just hides the beauty of the coin underneath, I guess I like to look at the coins for the artwork (me being a disabled freelance artist and tattoo artist)and the toning seems to hinder the beautiful artwork underneath

GULP [:p] That's a VERY NICE coin. I don't have many toned coins and the only other Morgan I've got which would qualify as toned is one MUCH less colored than the one you showed. Mine's a light golden color, but yours taks my Breath-Away!!!
