looking to buy some more silver tomorrow and the guy at my local shop has a ton of Roosevelt dimes he just put in tubes today while I was there, but I wasn't sure of the prices so I held off.

Roughly $1.00 to $1.35 each - the closer you can get to 10x face, the better, but its more likely you'll pay 13x face

The best I have seen at a dealer around here in the midwest lately is $1.20.

I bought 12 for $13.

so about $1.08 per dime. got a few mercuries in the mix, too.

thanks. I'm basically buying coins for the silver weight. I try to put $20/week into some sort of silver coin whether it be a quarter, half dollar, dime, etc.

Nice job on 12 for $13.

I'm going to ask my local dealer what his dime prices are today, I've never asked about "junk" silver dime prices. I did pick up 7 common Walkers for $42 from him recently, which wasn't too bad IMO.

Yes, Common date Mercuries are pretty much the same, they may carry a slight premium (depend on sellers).
